Ahead of his drama comeback, Yoo Yeon Seok started promoting his new work and first on his agenda is to appear on tvN's "You Quiz on the Block."

On November 22, the famous variety show uploaded a teaser of its upcoming episode featuring the actor.

Along with the hosts Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho, the "Dr. Romantic" star confessed his one-sided love after talking about his previous work "Architecture 101."

Yoo Yeon Seok shared that during his freshman year at university, he developed feelings for a sophomore girl and held onto that unrequited love for about a year. He then had the chance to express his love but things didn't go his way.

He confessed:

"One day, I went somewhere with her, and we were returning on an express bus. As I sat beside her, I realized we would never be together. That same day, after spending time together, it was clear that she didn't have any romantic feelings for me. When we were about to reach the terminal, I decided to let go of my feelings for her."

However, at that time, he suggested grabbing a burger before heading home. The two went to a burger place and an embarrassing moment happened for the actor.

"She returned with the ordered burgers. The second I took a bite, tears welled up in my eyes. It was so embarrassing. I put the burger down and walked out because tears were about to come out at any moment."

The "Mood in the Day" star added that as he got out of the place, his eyes turned to the nearby flower shops.

"I went into the store and impulsively bought a bouquet."

In the middle of the storytelling, Yoo Jae Suk was surprised by Yoo Yeon Seok's dramatic behavior and asked:

"Why did you do it when she was clearly not interested in you?"

Yoo Yeon Seok replied:

"I knew I was going to be rejected by her. But I still had to tell her how I felt."

Even though it was just a sneak peek of what to anticipate from his "You Quiz on the Block" episode appearance, it already piqued the viewers' interest, leaving them curious about what happened next in the story.

Meanwhile, Yoo Yeon Seok is returning to the small screen with his new thriller series "A Bloody Lucky Day," which is scheduled to premiere on November 24 on TVING.
