‘My Demon’ Episode 3: Song Kang Joins Hands With Kim Yoo Jung

Jung Gu Won (Song Kang) and Do Do Hee (Kim Yoo Jung) joined hands to achieve their individual goals in "My Demon" Episode 3. 

'My Demon' Episode 3: Do Do Hee Learns Jung Gu Won's Identity

Jung Gu Won saved Do Do Hee from the acid attack and revealed that he's a demon. He also escorted her to the police station to report the incident.

Afterward, she learned that the cross tattoo on her wrist was Gu Won's source of power. To use his powers again, Do Hee offered him to become her bodyguard and protect his tattoo.

To her disappointment, no matter how much he threatened to get rid of the tattoo Jung Gu Won still refused.

As the case progressed, the police believed that Cha Tae Jun killed himself, which Do Do Hee found odd. She informed Madam Ju about their supposed meeting before he died, but Madam Ju disregarded Do Hee's concerns and suggested she focuses on her work.

Jung Gu Won Joins Hands With Do Do Hee

Meanwhile, Jung Gu Won was experiencing combustion as he had not been making new deals, which led him to agree with Do Do Hee and become her bodyguard. The two joined hands to fulfill their goals.

He took Do Do Hee to make a new deal and first on his list was a mother of a sick child. The mom agreed to sign the blood contract in exchange for her daughter's life.

The spontaneous combustion stopped, but the deal upset Do Do Hee as she thought of Gu Won exploiting people's misfortunes.

Due to this, she no longer wanted to be associated with him. Her opinion affected Jung Gu Won's work and went to meet the young girl and asked for her wish.

On the other hand, Do Do Hee saw the girl celebrating her special day with her parents. It was then Jung Gu Won and Do Do Hee began to understand each other.

Jung Gu Won started working as Do Do Hee's bodyguard and he told her about his life. He used to be a human before he was chosen to be a demon. However, he does not remember his past life.

Do Do Hee Determined to Find Madam Ju's Killer

Madam Ju busted that someone had been appropriating company funds. She rebuked the person involved and told him would have to pay for his actions. She sent Do Do Hee a message saying how much she loves her.

The chaebol heiress felt uneasy about the message and went to visit Madam Ju only to find out that she was already dead. Do Do Hee lost the only person who loved her and treated her like a family after the death of her parents.

At the funeral, she found out that the late madam was forming an audit team. She also realized that Madam Ju's family was happy about her passing. It upset Do Hee and left the funeral.

Jung Gu Won followed her and comforted her.

Later, the detectives handling Madam Ju's case informed her family that she had taken the wrong medicine, which led to her death. To Do Do Hee's conclusion, someone murdered her and that person's next target is her.

While Do Do Hee wanted to find the culprit, Madam Ju's family wanted to keep the matter a secret from the public.

She then suspected that the murderer might be one of them.

Do Do Hee Proposes Marriage to Jung Gu Won

Later on, Madam Ju's will is read at the funeral announcing that Do Do Hee will be the next chairperson of the Mirae Group, which surprised everyone. However, to keep the management rights, Do Do Hee must marry within a year.

Madam Ju also stated the reason why Do Do Hee is the next successor. As expected, they were against her decision.

As she is determined to find Madam Ju's murderer, the only thing to stop her is to kill her.

Impulsively, she went to Jung Gu Won and proposed marriage to him.
