Viewers might see Park Eun Bin in a different light as the actress is offered to play a challenging role in the new drama "Hyper Knife."

From taking on the rookie lawyer with autism in "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" to the survivor in "Castaway Diva," the 31-year-old actress is to potentially play the role of psychopath in the upcoming series.

In a report, the actress is being offered to headline the medical-crime thriller "Hyper Knife." Park Eun Bin's agency, Namoo Actors, confirmed that she is in talks to join the series. 

Moreover, the label said that the actress is positively reviewing the offer.

If the 31-year-old star accepts the offer, Park Eun Bin will portray the role of Jeong Se Ok, a genius psychopathic doctor who shows obsessive fascination with the human brain.

Park Eun Bin to Possibly Team Up With Sol Kyung Gu in 'Hyper Knife'

"Hyper Knife" is a medical-crime thriller K-drama, penned by Kim Sun Hee of the 2018 series "God's Quiz: Reboot."

Set to be produced by Dongpung Co., Ltd. and Vlad Studios, the upcoming K-drama depicts the story of a psychopath doctor who others think is saving lives but harbors a big secret.

Focusing on Jeong Se Ok, she is known for her skill in the medical field, and despite being a rookie doctor, she excels in everything she does.

However, her life changes when she gets involved in the death of her mentor, Professor Choi Deok Hee, a role offered to award-winning actor Sol Kyung Gu. 

In "Hyper Knife," Jeong Se Ok is accused of being the prime suspect in the murder that results in the revocation of her medical license.

Interestingly, through the upcoming series, viewers will get to see Park Eun Bin take on the role of a psychopathic maniac who considers human life more insignificant than an insect.

Park Eun Bin is best known for her role in the megahit K-drama "Extraordinary Attoryney Woo," but she also has a slew of notable series like the award-winning "The King's Affection" with Rowoon, "Hot Stove League," and the recently-concluded "Castaway Diva."

As for her possible co-star, Sol Kyung Gu is an esteemed actor who starred in Netflix's "Kill Bok Soon," "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations," and "The Moon" with Doh Kyungsoo and Kim Hee Ae.

Park Eun Bin Opens Up on Planning to Take a Villain Role

In her previous interview, Park Eun Bin talked about her plans for show business, including characters that she dreams of portraying. One of the things that she mentioned was taking on a villain role.

According to the actress, she is willing to play challenging roles and show her different sides to the viewers.

"The villain I want to play is like the one in 'Transformers'. In fact, I don't look at a certain character and say, 'I want to play it,'" she said, as obtained by an outlet, adding that it will be the character that would complete her as an actor.
