This 2023, networks and OTT released a slew of amazing K-dramas that viewers have been raving about. From rom-coms to webtoon adaptations to thrillers and more, this year's K-dramas did not disappoint.

With that being said, here are the Top 10 Highest-Rated Series of 2023, according to MyDramaList.

10. 'D.P.' Season2

Coming in at 10th place is "D.P." Season 2 with 8.7 points.

Jung Hae In and Goo Kyo Hwan returned, along with Kim Sung Kyun and Son Seok Koo.

In the series, the team aimed to expose anomalies in the army as they strive for great change.

"D.P." Season 2 also featured new cast members, with Ji Jin Hee as General Goo Ja Woon and Kim Ji Hyun as Lieutenant Colonel Seo Eun.

9. 'Daily Dose of Sunshine'

Another Netflix original series that made the cut is "Daily Dose of Sunshine," starring Park Bo Young as Jung Da Eun from the internal medicine department who was transferred to neuropsychiatry.

Little did she know that this sudden change would transform her life in a positive way.

Joining Park Bo Young on her K-drama comeback are Yeon Woo Jin, Jang Dong Yoon, and veteran actress Lee Jung Eun.

8.'Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938'

Landing with the same points at 8.8 is the sequel "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938."

Headlined by the returning duo Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum, the series dates back to 1938, when they met the guardian spirit mountain, Ryu Hong Joo, played by Kim So Yeon.

7. 'My Dearest'

Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin's drama "My Dearest" received 8.9 points. The romantic historical K-drama aired in two parts, both released in 2023.

The story depicts the challenging romance between Lady Yoo Gil Chae and the mysterious warrior Lee Jang Hyun in the middle of the Qing invasion.

Interestingly, this is also one of the high-rated K-dramas on SBS released this year.

6. 'Taxi Driver 2'

Also scoring 8.9 points is "Taxi Driver" Season 2.

The beloved anti-hero Kim Do Ki, played by Lee Je Hoon, returns as he continues his revenge against the cold-blooded criminals, who abuse innocent civilians.

Although season 2 delivered a lot of changes, the sequel focuses on the Rainbow Deluxe Taxi team's plan against its new target.

5. 'The Good Bad Mother'

Giving viewers a feel-good K-drama, "The Good Bad Mother" stars Lee Do Hyun as prosecutor Choi Kang Ho, who has a cold personality. His only focus is having a skyrocketing career, and he forgot about his mother, who raised him strictly.

However, things changed when he got into an accident.

Joining Lee Do Hyun as his on-screen mother is Ra Mi Ran as Jin Young Soon.

4. 'Dr. Romantic' Season 3

After years of waiting, Kim Sa Bu and the staff of Doldam Medical Center returned to "Dr. Romantic 3."

The majority of the cast, like Han Suk Kyu, Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop, and more, reprised their roles.

Interestingly, the third installment showcased a surprising cameo of a previous character.

3. 'The Glory' Part 2

After the success of the first season, "The Glory" Part 2 featured Song Hye Kyo as the revenge-driven Moon Dong Eun. She managed to turn the tables against her tormentor, Park Yeon Jin, played by Lim Ji Yeon.
