Kwak Sun Young To Finally Make Big Screen Debut With 'Mist'

On December 12, it was reported that Kwak Sun Young is joining Girls' Generation Yuri in the brand new horror film "Mist."

Kwak Sun Young is a fan-favorite actress who was lauded for her intricate performance in "Hospital Playlist" as Jung Kyung Ho's love interest and Jo Jung Suk's sister from the military.

In her movie debut, the actress transforms into a swimming teacher who keeps a life-changing secret, and a mother who raises her daughter on her own.

Ki So You plays Kim So Hyun, her daughter in the show. Meanwhile, Girls' Generation Yuri joins the cast as Kim Min, a cleaning company worker who handles scenes of lonely deaths.

Following her participation in "Hospital Playlist" and "Behind Every Star," Kwak Sun Young joined the cast of "Moving."

The award-winning drama follows the supernatural lives of teenagers and their parents who discover their super powers.

In the show, Kwak Sun Young plays Ryu Seung Ryong's wife and Go Yoon Jung's mother who died from a car accident when her child was young.

Because fans couldn't get enough of her, Kwak Sun Young joins Cha Tae Hyun and Jun Yong Hwa in the KBS2 series "Brain Works."

It's a science comedy show that depicts the lives of two men who hate each other, and their lives as they solve a criminal case involving a rare brain disease.

Kwak Sun Young joins as Seol So Jung, a forensic hypnosis investigator who is also known for her anxious brain. Catch it every Monday and Tuesday at 9:50 p.m. KST on KBS2. "Brain Works" begins its broadcast on January 2, 2024 so don't miss it.
