Before December ends, a media outlet confirmed that Hwang In Yeop is returning to the small screen with a new romance drama "Family by Choice" (working title). Apart from him, Jung Chaeyeon and Bae Hyun Sung are also expecting to headline the series.
The romance drama "Family by Choice" foretells the story of three individuals, who are not related by blood but spend their teenage years together while believing that they are family. A decade later, the trio reunites and everything has changed.

According to a source, Hwang In Yeop is Kim San Ha, a good-looking man who has almost everything and can do what he wants. After spending half years of his life with Yoon Joo Won and Kang Hae Joon like siblings, Kim San Ha vanishes and makes a surprise return after 10 years.
As early as this month, the fans and viewers are already anticipating on how the heartthrob will immerse himself in the character of Kim San Ha, who is surrounded by circumstances he can not reveal to anyone, piquing the audience's interest in his mysterious role.
Jung Chaeyeon & Bae Hyun Sung Join Hwang In Yeop in New Romance K-Drama
Idol-actress Jung Chaeyeon takes the role of Yoon Joo Won, a fierce and optimistic lady who grew up receiving lots of love from her father who owns a noodle restaurant. No matter what others say, she considers Kim San Ha and Kang Hae Joon as a family.
Meanwhile, promising star Bae Hyun Sung will portray the character of Kim Hae Joon, a bright and adorable man who despite facing hardships at a young age chooses to stay positive in life.
He loves to be with Yoon Joo Won and Kim San Ha whom he considers as a family. He is passionate about playing basketball in order to repay Yoon Joo Won's father.
Apart from their introduced characters, the production team mentioned that "Family by Choice" is a series that expresses the small and happy memories gathered by young people to hone them into becoming mature adults.
