While tvN is unsure about the release of "Hospital Playlist" Season 3, the broadcast network confirmed that they will be delivering a spin-off.
From the new storyline to the cast members, viewers are thrilled to see heartwarming stories from a different point of view.
After portraying interesting roles such as Park Yu Ri in "Sweet Home" season 1, Naksu in "Alchemy of Souls," and Jang Hee Soo in "Moving," Go Yoon Jung will showcase her different side as she takes on the character of a first-year obstetrician and gynecology resident.
She is working at Yulje Medical Center's Jongro branch, where she meets the amazing professors and residents at the hospital.
The spin-off was officially confirmed in September 2023, with director Shin Won Ho and screenwriter Lee Woo Jung working on the series.
As for the cast members, joining Go Yoon Jung as lead stars are Shin Shi Ah, Kang Yoo Seok, and Jung Joon Won.
Just like the beloved medical K-drama "Hospital Playlist," the spin-off will showcase the friendship, real-life stories, and challenges of professors and residents at the university hospital.
In addition, reports also mentioned that the tvN series will focus on the obstetricians and gynecologists at the Jongno Yulje Hospital.
Meanwhile, viewers will get to see the spin-off in the first half of 2024, exclusively premiering on tvN.

Other than the spin-off, Go Yoon Jung is booked and busy in the coming year with new K-dramas.
Besides the TVN medical series, the actress is in talks to headline the rom-com series "Can You Translate This Love."
If Go Yoon Jung officially confirms, she will star alongside Kim Seon Ho.
The upcoming rom-com is penned by the renowned Hong sisters and directed by Yoo Young Eun of "Bloody Heart."
