YoonA Hailed as ‘Actress of the Year’ for Her Performance in ‘King the Land’
YoonA is ending 2023 with a bang as she received the "Actress of the Year" award for her captivating performance in "King the Land."
YoonA Takes Home 'Actress of the Year' Award at Consumer's Day Awards Ceremony
On December 19, the 28th Consumer's Day Awards Ceremony was held, which the idol-actress YoonA attended. Looking beautiful in her all-black two-piece ensemble, the Hallyu star once again stole the spotlight.
2023 has been a busy year for the "K2" star. This year, YoonA was occupied filming her comeback series "King the Land," where she delivered a passionate performance as "Rom Com Queen."
Not only did she get her nickname, but she also gained a lot of attention from all over the world.
"King the Land" even rose to number one on Netflix globally during its run in August.
In recognition of her talent, YoonA won the 2023 Viewers' Voted "Actress of the Year" for her role as Cheon Sa Rang.
'King the Land' Voted as Drama of the Year
Not just the actress, but her series "King the Land" was also chosen as the "Drama of the Year" by viewers. YoonA received the honor of winning two trophies at the same time, further solidifying her presence as a trustworthy actress in name and reality.

In her acceptance speech, YoonA thanked the KTL fans, as well as her co-stars and the drama's production staff.
"2023 was a busy year with 'King the Land,' and the viewers voted for me to receive this award, this achievement allowed me to end the year on a good note. I would like to thank the production crew, staff, and actors who worked with me on 'King the Land.'
And most of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the viewers who enjoyed watching the drama. I will greet you with good projects in the future."
Meanwhile, YoonA is already expected to have a prosperous new year as she announced her fan meeting tour "YOONITE" beginning in January 2024. It is to repay the love of her global fans.
Her solo tour will kick off on January 6 and 7 in Seoul and will visit eight cities in Asia, including, Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Yokohama, Manila, Bangkok, and Jakarta.
In addition, YoonA is slated to return with a new romance movie in 2024 with Ahn Bo Hyun through "2 O'clock Date."
Meanwhile, YoonA's "King the Land" co-star Lee Junho also won the Daesang, also known as the "Actor of the Year" at the 2023 Asia Artist Award, held last December 14 in the Philippines.
The idol-actor also received the "Hot Trend" and "Popularity" Awards.
Following his fan meeting in Asia, Lee Junho is also expected to have his solo concert this coming January 2024 in Seoul, marking his expanding popularity as an artist.
