Han Hyo Joo Voted To Have 'Worst Acting' in 2023

Before finishing the year, Han Hyo Joo became the center of discussion online as one of news outlets named her as one of the actresses who had the "worst acting" this year.

On December 25, Sports Kyunghyang released the vote results at the 7th Wild Berry Film Festival, which is held to choose Korea's worst actors and cinematic works each year.

For 2023, it has been said that 55 cinematic reports from the leading Korean media companies revealed their picks.

As the results were presented, many netizens were shocked to see Han Hyo Joo voted as the actress with the "worst acting." According to the report, the "Brilliant Legacy" star received 17 votes in the said category.

This was a big surprise to fans and viewers, considering that the actress made a brilliant performance and received praise for her appearance in the high-budgeted series "Moving."

Han Hyo Joo even won the Best Series Actress at the 59th Grand Bell Awards, which is also known as the Daejong Film Awards.

According to the source, Han Hyo Joo's acting in the action-thriller movie "Believer 2" drew criticism. In the film, the actress portrayed the role of Big Knife, which is said to be a new character in the story and only made for the actress. It has been said that this role replaced the first movie's protagonist.

The additional character became the center of controversy as the audience considered Han Hyo Joo's role, Big Knife, not fiting for the second installment of "Believer."

The viewers also complained about how the actress felt out of place in the story compared to the other cast members, who were also present in the first movie and made outstanding performances.

Most of the participants were reporters and also shared their sentiments of why they chose Han Hyo Joo to have the "Worst Acting."
