On January 3, Sports Chosun reported that fan-favorite actor Hong Jong Hyun is finally making his television comeback this 2024.

It was announced that the actor is joining the main ensemble of "What Comes After Love," the drama that is led by Lee Se Young and Sakaguchi Kentaro.

Besides its heart-fluttering narrative about fate, the drama also exudes appeal as it will be played by stars from different countries with various cultures and beliefs.

Lee Se Young plays Hong, a South Korean student studying in Japan who falls in love with Jungo, a Japanese student. After breaking up, they reunited in South Korea after five years.

Hong Jong Hyun's addition to the mix is expected to spice up the narrative as he plays Min Jun, Hong's fiancé who has been in love with her for more than 15 years.
