Park Min Young welcomed 2024 through her new series "Marry My Husband." Starting the year right, the K-drama premiered on January 1 and 2 via tvN.
"Marry My Husband" follows the story of Kang Ji Won, who returns 10 years in the past after dying due to the affair of her best friend and husband.
One day after it met the audience, the K-drama immediately received enthusiastic responses from viewers. Thanks to its narratives' speedy development and the actors' performances, "Marry My Husband" scored a spot on top of global shows' list.
According to FlixPatrol, "Marry My Husband" soared to Top 3 Global TV Shows on Amazon Prime on January 4 after the release of two episodes.
Apart from that, the series also made it to the Top 10 in 59 countries, including Japan, India, Australia, and more.
The romance-revenge series also entered the Top 5 in 40 countries and Top 3 in 37 countries.
Since it ranked first in five major countries in Southeast Asia, "Marry My Husband" proved the capability of K-content, raising high expectations for the soon-to-release episodes.
Adding to the ongoing success of the series, it also achieved No. 1 in the Daily Rankings on the content community Kinolights as of January 4.
The drama also recorded its highest viewer rating of 7.4 percent after airing only two episodes.
