BLACKPINK Jisoo Starts Working on Her Comeback Drama 'Influenza'

BLACKPINK Jisoo became a trending topic on SNS after the idol-actress was spotted filming in Seoul. It has been said that she is filming the new zombie-themed series "Influenza."

On January 8, a fan spotted BLACKPINK Jisoo while in the middle of filming at a nearby neighborhood in Seoul.

It has been said that the actress was filming "Influenza," a novel-based series of the same name, in which the story revolves around soldier Jaeyoon and his girlfriend Yeongju, who, having just informed of their breakup, find themselves in a survival mood against a zombie attack within Seoul's high-rise building civil defense unit.

According to the source, Park Jung Min will take the role of Jaeyoon, while Jisoo is Yeongju.

Once details about the series are confirmed including the cast and its release date, "Influenza" marks Jisoo's comeback to the small screen following her debut series "Snowdrop."

This is already gaining anticipation from the fans and viewers as they are excited to watch the actress in a new series and see what improvements she has for her much-awaited return.

BLACKPINK Jisoo Aims to Be Better

On January 4, the idol-actress appeared as a guest on Hyeri's YouTube channel. She was Hyeri's first guest on the new content that the "Reply 1988" star prepared. At that time, the two exchanged stories about their careers and mostly about their personal lives.

Since it's a new year, they talked about the things they want to do for the rest of 2024.

Jisoo humbly and honestly said, "For me, I want to do better than her' or ' I want to be like her,' I don't often have these thoughts. I only look at myself. I should do better than my past self."

Furthermore, you can see more of Jisoo's solo activities through her social media accounts as she is also busy working as a brand ambassador for a huge fashion luxury brand Dior. She became the official global ambassador of Dior in 2021, after working with the brand's beauty line since 2019.

She's also busy attending fashion shows, galas, and other exclusive events about the brand.
