Han So Hee Gets Candid About K-drama Characters: ‘I want to play a role that doesn’t…’

Han So Hee Expresses Gratitude To Supporters

Earlier this month, Han So Hee returned to the limelight with the Part 2 of the hit Netflix series "Gyeongseong Creature" with Park Seo Joon.

In the drama, the actress transformed into a bounty hunter fights the monsters created by humankind's greed in the big year of 1945.

Her performance was on another level which left fans in awe. Han So Hee is even predicted to sweep the Daesang (Grand Prize) awards at the end of the year.

In a guest appearance on "The Game Caterer" with Park Seo Joon, Han So Hee expressed her gratitude to the viewers who supported her from the beginning.

She promised to continue showcasing her various sides as an actress. To recall, Han So Hee rose to fame as a mistress in the makjang drama "The World of the Married."

Furthermore, she became known for her Yoo Na Bi role in the mega hit series "Nevertheless" with Song Kang in 2021. She said, "I will return with improved acting and more projects."

As for her dream role, she plans to portray a role that doesn't put a lot of makeup on, saying, "I want to focus on the character study rather than my appearance."

Here's What To Expect From 'Gyeongseong Creature' Season 2

Besides the top-tier casting and visuals of Han So Hee and Park Seo Joon, the second season of "Gyeongseong Creature" has a lot to offer.

In Season 1, viewers raised awareness of the cruelty of humans that was likened to a man-made monster. This coming season, an improved storyline will be delivered.

Not only will it focus on the narrative, it will also open doors for the two actors' blossoming relationship. Han So Hee said, "Season 2 will be more enjoyable than Season 1."

She reasoned that the new installment is set in the modern times, and fans will be able to see her character's growth as an individual and as a lover.

Expectations are heightened for Season 2. It will be released in the second half of 2024 so stay tuned for more updates.
