Gong Yoo & Lee Dong Wook to Reunite in Yoo Jae Suk's Variety Show

On February 4, media insiders revealed that A-list stars Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook are preparing for their forthcoming collaboration. Based on the news cited by a media outlet, the "Goblin" actors are confirmed to have their guest appearances in the next episode of the famous variety-talk show "Excuse Go."

The entertainment program is hosted by comedians and TV personalities Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho. 

In addition to the good news, the show already dropped a teaser of Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook's show guesting for this week. It is titled "(Special Preview Cam) Return of the Lunar New Year."

The video was posted on the show's official YouTube channel. 

In the preview, Lee Dong Wook and Gong Yoo, who are famous for their noteworthy characters in the megahit series "Goblin" visit the set of "Excuse Go." This will be their second time appearing on the show during New Year, their first visit happened in 2022.

Yoo Jae Suk warmly welcomed the K-stars and humorously said, "I finally met 'Goblin.'" Jo Se Ho, on the other hand, is grateful to have such big stars to be their guests during the Lunar New Year.

The clip also showed the strong bond that Lee Dong Wook and Gong Yoo have despite rarely seeing each other due to their busy schedules. The duo are expected to show more of their close friendship and give updates on their upcoming projects.

Furthermore, "Excuse Go" is scheduled to air this coming Lunar New Year, February 9 on YouTube.

What's Next for Gong Yoo & Lee Dong Wook

Gong Yoo is gearing up for his new projects. He thrilled the fans and viewers for his comeback in the record-breaking series "Squid Game 2." In addition, he will make a drama return with Seo Hyun Jin, in Netflix original series "The Trunk." The production has already started filming. Meanwhile, its scheduled release is yet to be confirmed.

Lee Dong Wook, on the other hand, is dominating the OTT through his ongoing thriller series "A Killer's Shop." The actor and the drama are receiving global popularity. 

The lead actor is also preparing for another acting project as he will team up with "Dr. Romantic" actress Lee Sung Kyung in the action series "The Good Man."
