Did You Know? ‘Flex X Cop’ Star Park Ji Hyun Did THIS Before Debuting

In a guest appearance in the popular SBS TV program "Running Man," rising star Park Ji Hyun who recently returned to prime time with "Flex X Cop" let fans in on a secret.

She shared a fun fact about herself that many don't know, surprising not only her supporters but also her colleagues in Hallyu.

Park Ji Hyun Reveals Working Part-Time Before Debuting

On February 18, Park Ji Hyun showed up in SBS TV's entertainment show "Running Man" alongside Ahn Bo Hyun.

The two actors appeared to promote their new K-drama "Flex X Cop" which tells the story of a bratty conglomerate heir who joins the police force to prove himself and his skills.

Park Ji Hyun, who appeared in the variety program before, exchanged laughter with seasoned comedians Ji Seok Jin and Yoo Jae Seok when they said, "Park Ji Hyun has grown up."

When asked what the actress did before making her debut as an actress, Park Ji Hyun surprised the viewers when she revealed that she used to do tutoring to make ends meet.

"I did a lot of part-time English tutoring jobs," Park Ji Hyun shared. "It was what I did best so I thought it would help me if I put my skills to good use."

Park Ji Hyun is not only good in English but she also excels in Spanish. It's revealed that she's a graduate of Foreign Studies at Hankuk University, the best foreign language university in South Korea.

The actress added that being fluent in a foreign language is an advantage of a great cop, alluding to her character in the brand new drama "Flex X Cop."

On the other hand, Park Ji Hyun plays a veteran detective in the drama, who doesn't play with rookies. She also stops at nothing in closing a case, showcasing her dedication.

Park Ji Hyun Reveals Being A Huge TVXQ Fan

In another guesting at an SBS program called "Radio Power," Park Ji Hyun once again shared a piece of her life when she revealed being a huge fan of the supergroup TVXQ.

According to her, she was an official Cassiopeia, which is the group's fandom name. Park Ji Hyun even sang TVXQ's "Hug" and said, "I even memorized the fanchants during the songs."

What surprised the public was when she shared that one of her friends ended up marrying Changmin, a TVXQ member, in 2020. However, said friend wasn't a big Cassiopeia.

But because she knew that Park Ji Hyun as a huge fan, she would show autographed albums of the idols, making her excited.

Meanwhile, Park Ji Hyun stars as a reputable detective in the new K-drama "Flex X Cop." Catch the series every Friday and Saturday at 10:00 p.m. KST on SBS TV and Disney+.
