Park Min Young responds to criticism regarding her K-drama comeback, "Marry My Husband." 

The revenge K-drama finally waved goodbye to viewers by delivering an entertaining yet satisfying ending. Throughout the season, Park Min Young captured the hearts of viewers with her amazing portrayal of the webtoon character, Kang Ji Won. 

Viewers witnessed her transformation from being a pushover wife to a revenge-driven woman. 

In "Marry My Husband," Park Min Young not only showed her versatility but also featured the stunning looks of her character. 

Unfortunately, not all were impressed by Kang Ji Won's wardrobe. 

Park Min Young Answers Questionable Office Looks Raised by Viewers

During the airing of "Marry My Husband," viewers expressed their disappointment with the fashion choices of Park Min Young's character.

Others deemed it "too revealing" and raised questions about her professionalism and intriguing style.

Following the finale episode, Park Min Young responds to criticism about her "questionable" look in "Marry My Husband."

In an interview, the actress mentioned her past K-dramas, wherein she also wore office outfits and had a similar style. 

"If you look at tvN's 'What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?' her outfits are very similar. So I didn't want to repeat that look. I thought it would be too similar."

To make a difference, the actress explained that she chose to cut her hair into a bob to highlight her character's growth. 

"I also thought that the character would want to dress in a way that is completely different in her second life. That's why I dressed more fancy during that alumni dinner scene."

As for the off-shoulder outfits, Park Min Young said they made reference to the trending outfits of 2023 since the setting of the specific scene was in that year. 

In addition, she also shared that she had different stylings at the beginning of the drama and the second half of the show. 

"There was a mistake when communicating (with my stylist). So starting from episode 9, I started working with the stylist I worked with for 10 years."

From her outfits to the acting skills of her co-star, Park Min Young also talked about her "Marry My Husband" co-star BoA, who made headlines during the second half of the show. 

Park Min Young said that she didn't want to defend the actress or even take sides, but acknowledged that it's challenging for someone to join midway through the drama. 

It's hard even for veteran actors, and joining a popular drama midway is even harder." 

In addition to this, Park Min Young also pointed out that BoA's character is "a really difficult and challenging role" and hoped that viewers "can see beyond the acting and appreciate it as something beautiful."

In addition, the actress, who is the same age as BoA, said that they've "endured a lot" but did their best during filming.

"I hope people can recognize that she did her best too."

Lastly, Park Min Young said that BoA's character is among the "captivating villains" in the drama."

In "Marry My Husband," BoA takes on the role of the antagonist for her K-drama comeback. 

She played Yoo Ji Hyuk's (Na In Woo) ex-fiancee, Oh Yoo Ra, who wanted to take Kang Ji Won out of the picture. 

At the time of the broadcast, she was criticized for her poor acting skills.
