The first quarter of the year has already been graced with beautiful elements of romance, thanks to the Korean-Japanese rom-com drama "Eye Love You."

Headlined by Korean actor Chae Jong Hyeop and Japanese actress Fumi Nikaido, the series depicts the romantic tryst between a young woman with a telepathic ability.

Hallyu superstar Han Hyo Joo meets Japanese actor Shun Oguri for the first time in the forthcoming romantic comedy series "Romantic Anonymous."

The series is adapted from the French film of the same name, and it will be directed by Sho Tsukikawa, the great mind behind the smash hit Japanese film "Let Me Eat Your Pancreas."

"Romantic Anonymous" is set inside a chocolate factory where two extremely shy chocolatiers fall in love unexpectedly with one another.

Currently, Han Hyo Joo is in the middle of filming the drama in Japan, and it's expected to be released within the year on Netflix.


'What Comes After Love'

Last but not the least is Coupang Play's "What Comes After Love" with A-listers Lee Se Young and Kentaro Sakaguchi.

The show is based on the highly loved novel of the same name by South Korean writer Gong Ji Young and Japanese author Tsuji Hitonari.

It tells the romantic tryst between a South Korean woman and a Japanese man who meet and fall in love in Japan, and reunite in South Korea years after their breakup.
