Ahn Hyo Seop Reveals He Needed To Drink Wine First Before Filming Kiss Scene With THIS Co-Lead Actress— Here's Why

In a previous interview with Access Showbiz Tonight, Ahn Hyo Seop opened up about a pivotal moment during the filming of "Dr. Romantic 2."

The actor, who played a love interest opposite Lee Sung Kyung, shared a candid confession about the steamy kiss scene that concluded the drama.

When questioned about the memorable kiss scene, Ahn Hyo Seop revealed that it was the final scene he had to film, and he found himself unable to approach it with a clear mind. To overcome his nerves, the actor made a surprising choice - reaching for a bottle of wine from the director's car.

"I took out a bottle of wine from the director's car and proceeded with the kiss scene while drinking a cup or two of the wine. Thanks to the wine, we were able to wrap up the scene," shared Ahn Hyo Seop.

In addition to his on-screen chemistry with Lee Sung Kyung, Ahn Hyo Seop delved into the efforts he put into portraying a doctor in the drama. From visiting a university hospital for research to practicing surgical techniques on raw meat, the actor displayed his commitment to authenticity in his portrayal.

"I went to a university hospital to research, and I even practiced cutting up a piece of raw meat," Ahn Hyo Seop recounted.
