Byeon Woo Seok Reveals Receiving More Drama Offers While Headlining ‘Lovely Runner’

Byeon Woo Seok, while still starring in the hit romantasy drama "Lovely Runner," revealed he's already receiving new offers.

Byeon Woo Seok Overwhelmed by 'Lovely Runner' Popularity, Support From Fans

On May 22, Byeon Woo Seok met the viewers through his first-ever "Yoo Quiz on the Block" guest appearance. Here, the actor talked about his career, personal life, and feelings toward the "Lovely Runner" fame. 

During his interview with Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho, the "Record of Youth" star shared that since his drama started airing, he couldn't get enough sleep and kept on checking the news and various social media platforms.

He admitted to also searching for his name and "Lovely Runner" ratings, and doing this makes his heart race as it is his first time to experience such massive support from fans.

"When I watch the news, my heart starts racing. I have been working hard for the past 9 years, and I am surprised and grateful to receive this much love."

Byeon Woo Seok Admits He's Receiving Various Offers While Still Headlining 'Lovely Runner'

Byeon Woo Seok, whose popularity continues to rise sharply after playing the role of Ryu Sun Jae, revealed that drama offers keep coming his way. He humbly admitted that he is receiving more scripts than before.

"There are about 10 to 20 times as many scripts coming in."

Surprised by his revelation, Yoo Jae Suk asked if it all happened in a month, and the actor replied "yes."

Nonetheless, Byeon Woo Seok has not decided yet on what he would do next as he is still reviewing the offers.

Byeon Woo Seok Expresses Gratitude to Kim Hye Yoon

Apart from this, the model-turned-actor also expressed his gratitude to his "Lovely Runner" co-star Kim Hye Yoon, with whom he has an excellent chemistry with. He mentioned that if it were not for the actress, he wouldn't be able to express Sun Jae's emotions.

"The emotions Hye Yoon gave me were so sincere that I fell in love with Sun Jae and was able to do better."

Byeon Woo Seok also showed his affection for "Lovely Runner," which he considers a special work, and his role Ryu Sun Jae.

"The series took 3 years to produce. At that time, I was not well-known, so the script went to other actors first. I am grateful that they sent me this script. As soon as I read the script, I knew for sure that I wanted to do it."
