A soundtrack can provide the heart and soul of any good kdrama story and may even improve a lackluster one. Once you start humming along with that soundtrack you know you are hooked. Here are ten of this year's drama soundtracks and songs that touched viewers' hearts.

1. "Missing You:" Wax's song "Tears are Falling" is all about crying and it even features the sound of tears dropping. It's very appropriate for a drama in which JYJ's Park Yoochun and actress Yoon Eun Hye shed many tears. The soundtrack also features songs by Jung Dong Ha, Byul and Lee Suk Hon. Perfect for a rainy day or the aftermath of a breakup.

2. "That Winter The Wind Blows:" The drama featured several tender ballads, including SPICA's Kim Bo Ah singing another teary song "Tears Fallin,' Taeyeon singing "And One" and Gummy singing "Snow Flower."

3. "When A Man Loves:" The drama may not have been a ratings hit but the soundtrack is soulful. Jung Dong Ha sings the seductive song "First Button," while Baek A Yeon provides a convincing "Introduction to Love."

4. "Gu Family Book:" Who could forget 4Men singing "Only You," Baek Ji Young's "Spring Rain" or Suzy singing "Don't Forget Me?" And the magical song that summed up the characters' lost love was Yisabel singing "My Eden."

5. "The Heirs:" Just as the show had a star-studded cast of actors the OST also had an impressive line-up of singers. Lee Hongki sang "I'm Saying," 2AM's Lee Chang Min sang the emotional "Moment" and Lee Min Ho sang "Love is Painful."

6. "Good Doctor:" Two ballads stood out in this emotionally charged medical drama, 2BiC's "I Am In Love" and Kim Jong Kook's "How Come You Don't Know." They both reflect the often-unhappy solitude of the character played by Joo Won.

7. "The Master's Sun:" Hyorin's song "Crazy for You" wanted to know if So Ji Sub was really listening to Gong Hyo Jin's heart or even his own, while Yoon Mi Rae's "Touch Love" perfectly summed up the importance of touch in the drama's plot.

8. "I Hear Your Voice:" The mostly upbeat soundtrack featured some tender and evocative songs, including "In My Eyes" by Kim Yeon Ji and "Words You Can't Hear FMV" by Shin Seung Hoon.

9. "Empress Ki:" The drama still has more than 30 episodes to go but so far fans have been impressed by Xia Junsu's lyrical contribution of "I Love You" and the song "Love Wind" by Wax.

10. "You Who Came From the Stars:" This drama is also only a few episodes along but Lyn's beautiful ballad "My Destiny" recently made an all-kill on the charts.
