Actor Kim Seon Ho's company Fantagio openly stated on August 19 that it is strictly resisting deepfake crimes against the actor.

The agency confirmed recent cases on social media that individuals allegedly used deepfake videos and impersonation of Kim Seon Ho to make money.
Discussing the severity of the situation, Fantagio stated, "Acts such as impersonating Kim Seon Ho and spreading false information using deepfake technology are clear violations of the law."
It also reaffirmed its stance on firm actions. "We will continue to conduct ongoing monitoring and take strong measures against any such illegal activities," the agency warned.
Fantagio also released an announcement to Kim Seon Ho's fans, reminding them to be cautious. "We ask fans to be particularly careful to avoid falling victim to these scams," the agency further stated.
