Comedian Lee Se-young made a shocking disclosure that she has spent over ₩100 million KRW (approximately $72,000 USD) on cosmetic surgery, openly discussing both the positives and terrifying risks of her procedures.

While appearing on the Aug. 24 episode of YouTube show NamooMiki Detective Agency, Lee likened the exorbitant price to purchasing a high-end car. "I spent as much money on plastic surgery as a Benz S-Class," she quipped.
The comedian continued to recount a particularly disturbing incident with a breast filler operation.
"I got ₩10 million (around $7,200) worth of breast fillers for a swimsuit shoot when I was very underweight," she explained.
"But while working out, I got hit with a barbell, and one side collapsed. It got so bad that I had to tie it with a necktie just to keep it in place."

Lee revealed she had emergency corrective surgery. "They had to cut open my chest and scrape it all out. It was really serious," she added.
She went on to have implants instead, which she claimed gave her a confidence boost. "When I take off my top, people's reactions are always intense," she joked.
Even though she spent a lot of money on cosmetic improvements, Lee admitted she did not want to drastically change her facial appearance.
"As a comedian, I still wanted to keep my natural look to some extent. If I'd gone further, I think my original features would've disappeared," she said.
She insisted that her inspiration wasn't merely vanity. "My goal wasn't just to be prettier, but to preserve my identity as someone known for humor and relatability," she said.
Lee also spoke of her previous relationship with her Japanese ex-boyfriend, once in the public eye.
"At the time, my mom was very sick, and he had to go back to Japan. The things we used to do together just stopped. Even though we thought about marriage, we started drifting apart," she related.
In the future, she made it clear that she will keep her romance life out of the public eye.
"Once was enough," Lee stated.
Her candid self-reflection brought to the fore the human toll of plastic surgery in Korea's entertainment circle, illuminating the pressures women endure in order to conform to beauty standards while keeping up a public persona.
