His performances have continually demonstrated range and depth, and with each succeeding project, he solidifies himself as a dynamic performer.

Personal Taxi is characterized as a human healing music drama about a mystifying taxi company that will only accept regular customers with reservations.

In each of the rides, a customer requests that certain music be played, allowing the characters and audience to be treated to meaningful stories with music chosen together with the fare.

The producers of the show describe the idea as blending music from across generations with emotionally authentic storytelling in an omnibus style.

Each episode features a different guest and narrative, which makes for broad thematic and emotional scope.

"This drama captures the rhythm of modern life through music and everyday people's stories," a member of the production team said. "It offers both healing and entertainment."

Starring Cha Tae-hyun as taxi driver Ko Gi-sa, the drama also has performances by Oh My Girl's Mimi and Lee Yeon-hee.

Joo's episode will be a new spin on the short-format series with an upcoming eight episodes of 30 minutes each.

Being adapted from original content by Lee Mo-se, Personal Taxi has the chance to expand into several seasons and attract an international audience because of the unique format and themes that exist in every culture.

Joo Jong-hyuk's determination in diverse genres serves as a statement to his growing status and commitment to Korean drama.
