Actors Kim Yoo-jung and Kim Do-hoon's agencies have rejected dating rumors after the two were speculated to have hooked up online after an alleged trip together to Vietnam.

On September 20, photos started circulating in the internet community claiming Kim Yoo-jung and Kim Do-hoon had gone together to Nha Trang, Vietnam.

The rumor grew stronger after a post showed a picture of Kim Do-hoon at the airport with the caption, "Kim Yoojung and Kim Dohoon refute dating rumors after being photographed together."

"The woman wore a thin ivory shirt over denim shorts and carried a green bag — the same outfit Kim Yoo-jung posted on Instagram last June," the post asserted, fueling more speculation.

Both actors' agencies then issued immediate public denials of the rumors. "This was a group MT trip after drama filming... not a true dating rumor," Kim Yoo-jung's agency, Awesome Entertainment, stated.

Peak J Entertainment, acting on behalf of Kim Do-hoon, followed suit, saying, "After filming the drama, the actors and staff went on a trip together. The dating rumors are not true."

The two were confirmed to have recently completed production on the upcoming TVING original drama "Dear X," set for release in November.

They said that the entire cast, director, and crew came together to participate in a company-style retreat celebrating the conclusion of filming.

Even with the explanation, the first photo only included the two actors, which may have contributed to the public's misunderstanding.

"The photos only show them, but it was a full group trip," one official explained.

Kim Yoo-jung and Kim Do-hoon have been generating buzz for their on-screen chemistry, and their shared appearance in "Dear X" has further increased public interest.

Their agencies, however, stressed that rumors of a romantic relationship between them are baseless.

The two actors are reportedly set to start promoting "Dear X" within the next few weeks.
