Kim Woo Bin recently shared a positive incident that happened while filming "Genie, Make a Wish" in which Jo In Sung played an unexpected prank on him. It occurred on a long, tough day of filming an entire CGI scene.

The anecdote was shared in a video uploaded to the "Ddeun Ddeun" YouTube channel on September 27, where Kim sat down with other cast members for a behind-the-scenes discussion.
Remembering the experience, Kim said of the atmosphere during the intense CGI scan: "You either have to stay expressionless or make the expressions they ask for. I was doing it for hours, and then one staff member said, 'Please smile a little.' I thought, 'Huh?' and it caught me off guard."
He went on to describe how the instruction was odd and unnecessary: "At first I ignored it, but a little later they said again, 'Please shoot while smiling.' I got annoyed because it wasn't related to the work. I even asked, 'But why do I have to smile for this?'"
And then there was the surprise twist Kim remembered, "That person came closer, fixed my outfit, and said, 'If you smile while shooting, doesn't it feel good?' I thought it was really strange, and then I looked up — it was In Sung hyung. He had just come by the set and was playing a prank on me."
The surprise twist brought laughter from the audience as they listened to the anecdote.
Yang Se Chan had a witty reply with a smile, "In Sung hyung must have felt embarrassed too."
Yoo Jae Suk chimed in with a smart quip, "His name is In Sung (meaning virtue). The rhyme fits perfectly."
Kim ended the tale with a smile and added, "Thanks to him, the mood lightened up.
The scene provided viewers with a unique glimpse of the chemistry and playfulness between members of the cast, which included A-list actors and celebrities. Before long, the video went viral, creating even more buzz for the Netflix drama.
According to Kstartrend, the audience was receptive to the plot focusing on Kim Woo Bin, and they showed admiration for the actors' chemistry, as well as Jo In Sung's charming personality.
Chosun also reported that the buzz for "Genie, Make a Wish," was increasing with Kim's story generating heightened fan interest before its premiere.
