Kim Soo Hyun is back in the news after being accused of two-timing by netizens for allegedly having letters written to him while he was on mandatory military duty.

The scandal has brought back an avalanche of questions regarding his past alleged romance with the late actress Kim Sae Ron.
According to Koreaboo, the letters diminish the legitimacy of claims that Kim had dated Kim Sae Ron when she was still a minor.
The lawyer described the evidence. "They revealed that he exchanged approximately 150 letters with his girlfriend from enlistment to discharge, with various entries revealing his love and gratitude for her," attorney Ko said.
In another statement, the lawyer highlighted the credibility of the results. "Upon evaluation by attorney Ko, they stated that the letters were 'highly credible, with no possibility of manipulation.'"

Notwithstanding this, most South Korean netizens believed that the revelation made Kim's condition worse instead of saving him from his tarnished reputation.
On community website theqoo, one of the users wrote, "There is something called two-timing in this world."
Another netizen brushed aside the defense as moot. "Regardless of how many letters he wrote to someone else, it doesn't change that he tried to get with a minor."
Others condemned the publicization of the letters. "So was he two-timing then? Is he foolish? Doesn't he know this damages his image even more by making this public?"
Another critic ridiculed the alleged strategy. "It's so funny how they're acting like they changed the media...they only talk amongst themselves, so they don't know the public image at all."
Another netizen referred to the paradox. "So he wrote a letter to her while having a girlfriend..."
Reactions keep flooding in, with most concurring that rather than restore Kim Soo Hyun's reputation, the latest revelations might have entrenched public suspicion.
As drama unfolds, fans and critics alike are waiting with bated breath to see how the actor and his handlers will respond to the growing backlash.
