Few Korean dramas managed to surpass the highly coveted 10% mark in nationwide viewership this year, and fans have been taking to social media to express their reaction after a list of the top-performing series was compiled.

Per Panchoa, the post titled "Dramas That Exceeded the 10% Viewership This Year" from TheQoo underlined five productions from major broadcasting networks, which could achieve double-digit ratings in 2025.

The lineup includes SBS's "Love Scout" with Han Jimin and Lee Joonhyuk, JTBC's "The Art of Negotiation" featuring Lee Jehoon and Kim Daemyung, SBS's "Buried Hearts" with Park Hyungsik and Ha Joonho, SBS's "The Haunted Palace" starring Yook Sungjae and Bona, and tvN's "Bon Appetit, Your Majesty" featuring Yoona and Lee Chaemin.

One netizen commented, "Wow, I didn't watch any of these," in surprise at how few titles surpassed the 10% mark this year.

Another fan noticed the network dominance, saying, "SBS has a lot of shows here. Seems like that place has a lot of high ratings." And indeed, SBS claimed three of the five top-rated dramas in a reflection of its continued stronghold in the prime-time drama slot.

A viewer who followed the JTBC hit shared, "The Art of Negotiation was so fun," while another fan praised the fantasy-horror drama The Haunted Palace, writing, "The Haunted Palace is freaking good!!"

According to TheQoo, some viewers pointed out the small number of dramas that made the list and said the 2025 K-drama lineup has been competitive but with fewer breakout mainstream hits. One user commented, "Wow, wait a minute, there are only 5 shows???"

Personal preferences varied among the fans, with one saying, ""Love Scout and Bon Appetit for me," another stating, "I only watched Haunted Palace and Bon Appetit and both were good."

Despite that, and despite a limited number of highly-rated shows, fans remained optimistic for the next year's lineup, expecting stronger performances from upcoming titles.
