The confirmation of two of Korea's most visually admired stars headlining an upcoming K-Drama has left fans across online communities abuzz.

On November 12, KST, JTBC confirmed that Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook will be pairing up as the main lead couple for the channel's upcoming series "Human x Gumiho" (working title).

Per Koreaboo, the drama is a fantasy romance-comedy that tells the story of a Gumiho who meets a human fated to attract mythical creatures.

Jun Ji Hyun, the legendary heroine of "My Love from the Star" and "Legend of the Blue Sea," will appear as Gu Ja Hong, a super actress whose perfect beauty and fascinating talent hide a dark secret—she is actually a Gumiho.

The production team has described her character as "a woman who uses her allure and influence to manipulate humans, but whose charm begins to falter when she meets a man immune to her powers."

He will be starring opposite her as Choi Seok, a talented shaman and director of Osung Museum. With his lighthearted character, Choi Seok sees the dark forces that dwell within the human world. His peculiar abilities make him immune to Gu Ja Hong's mythical influence.
