Actor Park Bo Gum met "Reply 1988" co-star Hyeri during his recent visit to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and the candid moments have sent fans over the top ahead of the 2025 Asia Artist Awards.

On December 8, Park Bo Gum shared a series of photos via SNS and reflected on the experience. He said, "On a moonlit night in Kaohsiung, every moment we smiled and responded together was truly delightful. Thank you for the wonderful memories. This year, may everyone have their own 'When Life Gives You Tangerines'!"
Photos catch the actors in casual morning jogs, in light and comfortable athletic wear, running down the streets of Kaohsiung. Allkpop wrote that the duo flashed peace signs and bright smiles to capture a warm and natural chemistry together that the fans had always loved.
Netizens were delighted with the reunion, leaving comments like, "Seeing Park Bo Gum and Hyeri together again warms my heart — they haven't changed a bit!" Another added, "Nine years later, their friendship still shines through. Truly iconic."
Despite "Reply 1988" ending almost a decade ago, their bond remains strong, and fans praise the natural camaraderie this pair exhibits. Koreaboo noted that their jogging moments provided one of the only glimpses at these actors outside of formal events and cemented support even more.
Park Bo Gum also dominated the headlines at the 2025 Asia Artist Awards held at Kaohsiung National Stadium on December 6 by bringing home several honors, namely Asia Celebrity, Best Couple Award, Best Artist Award, 10th Anniversary Legendary Couple Award and the Grand Prize for Best Actor of the Year, Allkpop noted.
He is currently filming the movie "Canvas of Blood" while being active in various entertainment projects.
Koreaboo noted his busy schedule did not make his close friendship with Hyeri falter, and their friendship still echoes throughout Asia.
