Directed by Japanese game creator legend Toshihiro Nagoshi, the game follows Tokyo's Kabukicho district and stars Ma as Shin Ji-seong, an executive in a Korean-affiliated mafia organization.

According to information provided by Nagoshi Studio and reported by OSEN, the character is designed with Ma's signature physicality in mind, promising combat that fuses hand-to-hand fighting with knife and firearm action. The game will also let players traverse the dense neon-lit streets of Shinjuku by car, underlining its fast-paced design.

Nagoshi, famous all over the world for creating the series Yakuza, will be directing the overall scenario and setting tone for this game.

With his background in creating gritty human dramas, expectations are running high that "GANG OF DRAGON" will marry cinematic storytelling with immersive gameplay. During the project's introduction, he mentioned feeling both excitement and relief with the release of the teaser.

Nagoshi reflected on their effort by the studio to bring this world alive: "I'm finally relieved and excited to be able to show you 'GANG OF DRAGON'. This work fearlessly confronts and depicts the lives of outcasts living in the real-life Kabukicho district," per Chosun Daily.

Nagoshi concluded in his continued comment that the teaser is just a small part of the whole game and that people should be excited about future updates. And that early look, industry analysts say, illustrates Nagoshi's willingness to deviate from his style while working with international talent such as Ma Dong-seok.

Ma's appearance in the game is also a reflection of his growing influence across entertainment platforms.

According to reports from OSEN, he is shooting Netflix's "Tago: Extraction" with Nagoshi Studio. He also stars as a master in tvN and Disney+'s "I Am Boxer," a program he helped design and produce.

The combination of his film, gaming, and variety programming roles underlines the growing global impact of Ma and his undiminished appeal as a leading figure in action-driven storytelling.
