Jo Bok Rae' s agency announced that the wedding ceremony of South Korean actor, originally scheduled for Thursday, has been postponed and they are talking about when to reschedule. The ceremony was meant to celebrate a long-awaited milestone for the actor and his wife, who have been building a family since they got married in 2021.

The original announcement said that the wedding would take place at a wedding hall in the Gangnam district of Seoul, where family and friends were expected to gather.

His agency released a statement that simply said, "Jo Bok Rae's wedding ceremony could not proceed due to personal circumstances and matters concerning both families,"

A spokesperson said that the couple plans to "talk about the situation more and set a new date for the ceremony," which means that there is no set new date yet.

AllKpop said that Jo Bok Rae's marriage to his long-time partner became official in 2021, but they didn't have an official ceremony at that time because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The couple had planned to celebrate properly this week after years of waiting, but something unexpected happened that made them wait again. AllKpop says that the couple has had two kids since then: a son in 2023 and a daughter last year.

A post on KBIZoom also confirmed the delay, saying that the ceremony that was supposed to take place in Seoul on February 21 was pushed back for personal and family reasons, but it didn't say what those reasons were.

Jo Bok Rae made his debut in 2010 with the stage play "DMZ, My Love," and became well-known with the movie "C'est Si Bonacted" in well-known dramas like "The Veil, Our Beloved Summer," "Agency," "Moving," "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract," and "Undercover High School."

He will also be in the SBS drama "Manager Kim" later this year. AllKpop pointed out that both fans and people in the industry were looking forward to his wedding, so the delay was a big deal for his fans.
