Congratulations are in order for actors Choi Won Young and Shim Yi Young. The actors have set a wedding date and at the same time also announced that they will soon become parents.

The two actors met on set. Choi Won Young was last seen in "The Heirs" and Shim Si Young appeared in "The Suspicious Housekeeper." But that's not where they met. The couple became friends earlier last year when they both appeared in the MBC drama "One Hundred Years Inheritance," acting the roles of rivals who become husband and wife.

They dated secretly for six months before announcing their plans to marry. By the time they made a formal announcement, their parents had already met and the bride landed the bouquet at actress Yang Jung Ah's wedding. Choi Won Young's proposal was a simple one. He presented his bride with a ring and a handwritten letter.

The wedding date is now set for Feb. 28 at the Coex Walkerhill Hotel in Gangnam-Gu. Choi Won Young was eager to tie the knot before filming began for his next drama "The Days" with Park Yoochun, Park Ha Sun and So E. Hyun.

When Choi and Shim announced their plans to marry, netizens were happy for them. Because he played Yoon Jae HO, the Jeguk Company secretary and Yoon Chan Young's father in the popular drama "The Heirs," one netizen wrote, "Ooh, now Chan Young will have a nice stepmother." And also, apparently, a stepsibling as their child is expected this summer.

Shim Yi Young has not announced any plans for the coming year other than preparing for her wedding and her child's birth. She was busy last year. She played Woo Na Young, the interfering sister-in-law in "The Suspicious Housekeeper" but also played Nam Mi Ra in "Goddess of Marriage." She had a role in the film "Rockin' on Heaven's Door." Before that she was in "My Husband Got A Family" and "Precious Love."

Besides appearing in "The Heirs" and playing Kim Chul Gyu in "One Hundred Year's Inheritance," Choi Won Young did a cameo last year in the first episode of "Dating Agency: Cyrano." His new drama "Three Days" begins when the nation's president decides to vacation at his villa and then disappears after three shorts are fired. Park Yoochun plays the bodyguard who must find the president. Choi Won Young plays Kim Do Jin, the leader of the influential Jaesin Group.

"Three Days" will follow "You Who Came From The Stars."
