Lee Bo Young Experienced Difficulties Because Of A Past Dating Scandal
Actress Lee Bo Young is successful both in her personal life and professional career, but she faced difficulties after being caught up in dating scandals before.
During her interview with SBS's "Night of Entertainment" on the 5th, the actress shared an instance when she became determined to excel as an actress, "It was when my dating relationship with Ji Sung became public."
She said, "When the news came out, all of the productions that sent me casting offers suddenly lost their interest. It took a toll of my pride and I even felt bad for myself. I thought that even though I had a boyfriend, there must be something in me that is special that other productions were looking for, but as expected, image is very important."
After being casted as a nurse of a psychiatric ward in the 2009 movie "I Am Happy", she managed to improve her outlook in life, and she said that it was a turning point in her career. When asked what type of legacy as an actress she wants to leave, she said, "I want to be an actress who ages in a cool manner."
In other news, Lee Bo Young is casted in the upcoming drama "'God's Gift - 14 Days", which is set to premiere after the conclusion of "One Warm Word".
