Anyone here a Batista fan? If there are, we have some bad news for you as Batsita plans to leave the WWE before the "Payback 2014" PPV and rumors are going around that the departure of the "The Animal" was due to creative differences and payment issues.
According to the Inquisitor, the former World Champion was lied to and misled by the WWE since his return and he is not happy about it. Their sources stated that the entire reason he is leaving for his promotional tour so quickly is because of the "lies", and that alone. Here is the full statement from their source within the WWE regarding Batista's situation.
"WWE wants that story out, but it's all twisted. (Batista) would do five jobs for Bryan. They've f-ed him in money, booking, broken promises (relating to his) schedule, and promoting his (outside projects). Had that not happened, he would be around until late June, but because Vince (McMahon) f-ed him, he's not, so they dragged Daniel Bryan into this to vilify Batista. Daniel is beloved and a martyr so he benefits, but it has nothing to do with jobbing. They've twisted. It's classic Vince. Look at Ultimate Warrior and SummerSlam, Bret Hart in Montreal. (Vince) puts out his narrative. There are always two sides."
In his latest storyline, Batista along with Triple H and Randy Orton reformed their old stable "Evolution" in order to combat "The Shield" comprised of newcomers Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns and will probably have another match with them at Payback 2014. It was revealed that Batista will leave the company on June 1, in order for him to promote his new movie Guardians of the Galaxy, but with this kind of problem and frustration he has with the WWE, no wonder Batista wants to leave in such short notice.
According to report from F4WOnline via WrestleZone, another reason for Batista leaving is due to payment problems in his latest contract with WWE.
"PWInsider.com previously reported that Batista did not want to do the job to Daniel Bryan at Payback, but F4WOnline reports the situation is more Batista being frustrated that financially, things are panning out differently than what he was told when he agreed to return to WWE. It's being said the money isn't that great right now, and when you have the kind of money Batista has, it makes it that much easier to walk away from WWE, much like CM Punk did."
So are we seeing another CM Punk scenario here? There have been reports of CM Punk being removed from the WWE's record books, and there are also rumors that CM Punk will try his luck in Mix Martial Arts as Power Rangers star Jason David Frank once challenged him to a fight in MMA.
If Batista's departure will be similar to how the WWE handled CM Punk's departure , then the rest of the roster and the backstage personnel will have to watch out because this could happen to them as well.
Batista still has a storyline with Evolution against the Shield until Payback PPV, but he could surprise us and stay until the end of June that is if WWE can fix whatever issues they have with him. If not then the Animal has every right to leave in the first place.
So what do you think? Will Batista leave WWE for good? Sound off in the comments below!
