Actress Gong Hyo Jin, who was involved in a car accident last month, was reported to have undergone surgery for her fractured arm and injured knee.

Her company Soop Management assures fans that the actress is recovering, and will soon be in top shape to film for her upcoming drama "It's Okay, It's Love."

On the 3rd, her agency announced, "She's currently taking a break, thanks to the understanding of the production staff of "It's Okay, It's Love." Because of her injury, the remaining filming will take more time, that's why she decided to go through surgery now."

They added, "It's not too serious, and the surgery was successful. She's making great progress, and she will most likely be discharged by the weekend."

Representatives from the staff of "It's Okay, It's Love" also shared their thoughts, "We considered Gong Hyo Jin's condition, and decided to create a more comfortable filming schedule for her. We started filming early, and we don't have any problems regarding the premiere date."

In addition, "It's fortunate that Gong Hyo Jin is recovering fast. We take the actor's health very seriously, and we're making sure that the schedule is not pushing her to the limit. Meanwhile, her schedule for promotional activities and press events will continue as planned."

"It's Okay, It's Love" will air its first episode on the 23rd.
