Honey Lee To Star As Female Lead In 'Modern Farmer'

Beauty queen turned actress Honey Lee is making an acting comeback through the drama "Modern Farmer."

Her agency King Kong Entertainment announced on the 22nd that Honey Lee will be taking the role in the drama "Modern Farmer" as Kang Yoon Hee, the village's first female and youngest village leader.

Regarding her participation in the drama, Honey Lee expressed, "I'm glad to be able to greet everyone through a new drama. It's been a while, but I'm excited to meet the viewers, as well as the young cast and talented staff."

She added, "I'm worried about filming in the hot weather, but I will be giving it my best, filming with a youthful energy and a grateful heart. I will work hard to give a good image and performance."

Joining Honey Lee are actor Park Min Woo, FT Island's Lee Hong Ki, N.Flying's Jae Hyun, and AOA's Mina.

"Modern Farmer" is about a group of friends who are in a band who decide to move to the countryside, with the story's focus being on their friendship, determination, and love.

Scriptwriter Kim Ki Ho from "Roller Coaster" and "Blue Tower," and director Oh Jin Suk from "Goddess Of Marriage" will be leading the production team.

The drama is scheduled to premiere on October 18, following the conclusion of "Good Day."
