Actress and singer Uhm Jung-hwa has been successful not only on stage and screen, but also in the food and beverage industry along with her siblings.

The artist recently announced news of her expanding family business, lovingly referred to by fans as the "Bungeoppang Sisters" brand.
Which has already started exporting abroad and is considering factory manufacturing because of high demand.
During an August 3 Q&A with fans, Uhm frankly discussed the difficulties of expanding their operations.

"The tom yum goong was delicious. Are you reselling it?" asked one fan, leading Uhm to say, "I have a sad story. It's all homemade, so we had to chop the vegetables, boil them, and make the broth in a small space like this.
Since mass production is impossible for my brother to do alone, I'm trying to find a factory that can replicate the taste.".
She went on, "We sell coffee online, and I think we can open stores in various locations. We'll probably export as well.
We don't have offline stores. Is opening a store the only way? Or, I'd love to see some coffee shops sell our products. Just wait a little. We're exporting now."
Uhm first introduced the brand last June together with her younger sister and brother, both of whom had already established themselves making sauces and soups.
"It wasn't enough for just the two of us. That's why I joined," Uhm told a video on her YouTube channel, and that she had previously registered the brand under her name years ago in case she would be able to utilize it in the future.

Their first item, a coffee tea bag maker, was launched by Uhm and her younger sister, whose similarity to the star created reactions on the internet.
"My older sister did everything for me in my 20s. I even went on overseas trips because of her," her sister explained. Uhm reacted warmly, "When we were young, we went on schedules together for a while."
The brand picked up speed fast with the support of celebrity endorsements. A pop-up shop by Uhm welcomed close friends in the entertainment circle.
Such as Jung Jae-hyung, Park So-dam, EL, Kim Min-ha, Oh Yoon-ah, Kim Wan-sun, Han Hye-yeon, Baek Ji-young, Yoon Hye-jin, and Kim Na-young. A lot of them wrote posts on social media endorsing the products.

Making a guest appearance on the online variety show Punggyego with actor Son Seung-heon, Uhm recounted her experience with fellow celebrity Yoo Jae-suk, who commented on her sister, "They look so much alike, They're practically twins."

Uhm also used the occasion to give Yoo one of her coffee items and intimated that upcoming pop-up shops could show up at busy areas such as The Hyundai.
Looking back at her foray into business, Uhm explained, ""I always wanted to create something later.
But I always worried, 'I'm acting and singing now, how will it be received?'" She added, "But then I realized I don't have time to worry anymore. So I decided to make it when I want to make it.."
The venture remains successful, and with growing popularity from fans and stars alike, Uhm Jung-hwa's family venture appears to be on track for lasting success.
