In a report on Aug. 11, the new movie Pretty Crazy, starring Lim and Ahn Bo Hyun, topped Korean movie reservations just two days before opening. The success is similar to the success of Jo's new hit My Daughter Is a Zombie.

Scheduled for release on Aug. 13 as the last Korean film of the summer, Pretty Crazy is shaping up to be a dark horse.

The boost in reservation rates indicates that there is high interest from audiences from day one.

The hype for the movie has been driven by an aggressive marketing campaign, with Lim and Ahn promoting the film on popular YouTubers and entertainment shows.

Positive preview audience reviews have been unanimous so far. Critics have given the film's innovative concept and finely directed execution high praise, calling it comforting and emotionally moving.

A supernatural spin on the romantic comedy genre, Pretty Crazy is a film that tells the story of an unemployed young man who gets an odd part-time job babysitting a woman who becomes a demon at dawn every day.

The crew consists of Lim Yoon A, Ahn Bo Hyun, Sung Dong Il, Joo Hyun Young, Go Geon Han, and Lee Hyo Bi. The director is Lee Sang Geun, famous for the 2019 box office hit Exit.
