Hayden Panettiere Pregnant: ‘Nashville’ Actress Nominates Fiance And Unborn Child For ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! Watch The Video Here!

Fans were able to see Hayden Panettiere, pregnant and nervous, take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge with the help of her pal, Derek Hough.

What was more shocking than the ice cold water dumped on the 'Nashville' star, though, was the actress' casual confirmation of her pregnancy in the Instagram video.

The DWTS pro dancer posted the video on his Instagram since he couldn't figure out how to post it on Panettiere's Twitter.

In the short clip, the 24-year-old actress stands in a parking lot, looking anxious as she waits for the inevitable cold shower.

"I accept my ALS Challenge," she says in the short video. "I renominate Kacey Musgraves - you're not getting out of this, Wladimir Klitschko, and my unborn child."

She then gets drenched by Hough, crying out a muted curse before muttering, "Yup, that's cold."

Hough, who was reportedly filming for his guest role for 'Nashville,' even joked about the shock, adding in the caption, "Hayden shortly went into labor after this... Jus kiddin."

Hayden Panettiere's pregnant belly had been photographed several times in the past months. Although the mother-to-be didn't issue any statement about her current state, she didn't have any qualms about showing off her baby bump in public.

Panettiere and her 38-year-old boxer fiancé Wladimir Klitschko have been engaged for a year before the 'Heroes' alum got pregnant.

'Nashville' writers and producers are reportedly working on incorporating the star's pregnancy into her character's (country singer Juliette Barnes) story line for season three.

Executive producer Dee Johnson previously told TV Guide that they will work around the current issue.

"She's faced with new obstacles, let's put it that way," the EP teased. It looks like viewers will most likely see Hayden Panettiere pregnant in the new season with the production team aiming to "address the idea of pregnancy."

Meanwhile, Zoe Saldana also addressed her pregnancy rumors in her own ALS ice bucket challenge video. Unlike Pannetiere, Saldana passed on the honor to her husband. Marco Perego willingly accepted the drenching for her.
