New reports claim that "The Elder Scrolls Online" release date might be delayed due to some problems with developer Zenimax Online Studios' employees.

News broke that Zenimax have been dealing with quite a handful of layoffs.

Bethesda Softworks in their interview with IGN said that the problem is not something to be alarmed about and is quite normal for "games of this type."

"We remain strongly committed to The Elder Scrolls Online, and continue to invest heavily to develop new content for PC and Mac players, prepare the game for its console launch, and handle our planned expansion into important international territories," Bethesda stressed.

However, rumors are starting to fly that "The Elder Scrolls Online" for Xbox One and PS4 release date could be possibly moved to 2015. No additional information or confirmation has been made by Zenimax or Bethesda regarding this speculation.

On a lighter note, the multiplayer online RPG will most likely have a rewards program by September. The program targets paying subscribers of at least three months.

"We think it's important to give some special recognition to those of you who have already been there every step of the way," says a statement on "The Elder Scrolls Online" website.

A High Hrothgar Wraith vanity pet was announced to be the first reward for loyal subscribers. The pet will reportedly "let you show your dedication to saving Tamriel wherever you adventure in-game."

More prizes and rewards are in store as the program is said to improve. Loyal subscribers can expect more rewards, as well as a secret "bonus" for subscribers of six months.
