After ending his tour last week, "Mmm Yeah" singer Austin Mahone wants the people to know that this is only the beginning for him.
Mahone stresses that he wants to evolve from the teen sensation image.
"People see me a young dude and I sing, and I feel like they're just like, Oh, there's another teen pop star. He's going to have few songs," he said, according to USA Today. "But I want to be more than that. I want to grow, I want to challenge myself to be better and to be different. I want people to know I'm in it for the long run, so you better get used to me."
The 18-year-old heartthrob revealed that he really misses the tour life.
"I'll wake up around 12 and I usually take a shower, get ready," Mahone said. "Then I'll sign 300 posters, do a meet-and-greet, sing a few songs for them, eat dinner, stretch, warm up my voice and get dressed."
The next thing on Mahone's agenda is to head back to Miami and rush out his first full-length album.
The singer said he's "going to try to get this one done as soon as possible to get more material out."
