Korea’s boy band Super Junior makes a shocking record of topping Taiwan’s music chart for 100 consecutive weeks.

Super Juniors 5th album with the title track ‘Mr. Simple’ topped Taiwan’s largest music site KKBOX’s Korea Top 100 chart for 37 consecutive weeks.

Previously, Super Junior’s 4th album with the title track ‘Bonamana’ topped KKBOX’s chart for 63 weeks straight, from June 2010 to August 2011. The 4th album passed the 1st place spot to  the 5th album.

Super Junior responded to this success with, “We are so happy and honored to place 1st for 100 weeks straight. Just thinking about it, it’s such a shocking record. To all our fans, we thank you once again. We’ll work even harder.”

On the other hand, Super Junior is currently on their world tour ‘Super Show 4,’ with their next stop at the Tokyo Dome from May 12-13 with an expected audience of 100,000 fans.
