Wooyoung Has Not Been In Touch With His Virtual Wife

Breaking up can be hard to do but some actors who appear on "We Got Married" manage to at the very least stay friends. Many viewers watching the "We Got Married" episodes featuring 2PM's Wooyoung and actress Park Se Young thought the couple was so well matched, they hoped the onscreen relationship led to a real life one.

That's rare and maybe even impossible. Even though on "We Got Married" couples do everything real couples do, they are constantly under the scrutiny of the cameras. And when the show ends, they must return to their busy schedules.

But that does not stop people from wondering.

The disc jockeys on the KBS radio program "Jo Jung Chil and Jang Dong Min's 2 O 'Clock" apparently also wondered if the Wooyoung and Park Se Young couple was for real and would last. When the singer appeared on their show recently they asked him if he had any feelings for the actress while they were filming the variety show.

"There is no way that you can film without thinking that," said Wooyoung. "I deliberately tried to focus by thinking to myself that she was my wife while I was filming."

And he admitted that the sudden end of their virtual marriage was traumatic.

"I endured a mental breakdown when the ending notice came because it was so sudden," he said.

The couple was sad when they received the notice that their pretend marriage would soon end. They went on a last date, holding hands while walking around Hongdae in Seoul. He fulfilled her last wish, which was for them to paint a bench together. 

When it was time to say goodbye, she wanted them to look into each other's eyes but he was too shy to look at her. She cried and he kissed her.

But then he didn't call her. The show's disc jockeys asked if they had spoken to each other. He confessed that they had not been in touch.

"During the filming, we were in contact, but I wasn't able to contact her after because she had to film her drama," he said.

He has been busy promoting the release of 2PM's single "Go Crazy." She has been busy with her role in "Fashion King," co-starring Joo Won. In the film adaptation of the webtoon series Park plays the prettiest most popular girl in class and the one that Joo Won has a crush on.
