Ed Sheeran Girlfriend: Mentions Athina Andrelos In Fan Event! Says “Girlfriends Get Tired Of The Artist Thing Very Quickly”
Is Ed Sheeran's girlfriend already tired of hearing him sing?
In an intimate live session for Amazon Front Row, the 'A-Team' singer shared some details of his love story to some 50 lucky fans.
While he tried setting BFF Taylor Swift up with his good-looking friends, he himself has been very much contented with his lady love. He admitted that his music did bring him luck with the ladies.
"It does help me pull women, but only long term relationship women," he said via Yahoo UK. "When I first started my career I was in a long term relationship, then I got into another one and now I've been in this one for nine months."
The artist charm, however, doesn't last very long.
He added, "But girlfriends get tired of the artist thing very quickly, by the end of it they hate it and they never want to come to shows and stuff."
So does Ed Sheeran's girlfriend still like "the artist thing" after nine months together or is she already tired of it?
The 'Lego House' singer previously revealed that he doesn't use the musician card with Andrelos that much.
The 23-year-old British singer told US Weekly in a past interview that he doesn't sing to his girlfriend "because that's really creepy and weird."
"If someone did that to you," the 'Sing' hitmaker told the publication. "Like legitimately, if someone sat you down like, 'hey baby, I'll come play some' you'd be a bit awkward about it, right?"
Even Andrelos' bosses can't seem to ask her about booking Sheeran up for a gig.
Her boss, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver had to resort to some begging (and wedding catering bribery) to get him to join the Big Feastival next year.
"His girlfriend works for me and I haven't dared ask her yet because I don't want to push my luck," Oliver said about booking the 'Give Me Love' composer for the next musical festival.
