‘Delicious Life’ Ye Ji Won Volunteers Abroad

Actress Ye Ji Won of SBS's weekend drama 'Delicious Life' revealed her story of volunteering abroad thanks to Cha In Pyo, Shin Ae Ra, and Um Ji Won.

Ye Ji Won, who plays well-rounded general manager Oh Jin Joo in 'Delicious Life,' is currently capturing interest for her work abroad.

Ye Ji Won stated, "I first heard of Compassion Band through Um Ji Won. Also, I felt as if Cha In Pyo, Shin Ae Ra, and Joo Young Hoon seniors were truly working hard volunteering abroad. Thus, I joined them in volunteering in Haiti, the Philippines, and Ethiopia."

Continuing, "At first, I learned of those who lived in adversity abroad through the media and thought to myself that I must help them after I married and settled down. I was touched by the passion and purity I've come across while being involved in the Compassion Band concerts."

"I was shocked at the fact that children in Haiti ate dirt cookies and the devastation left from a flood as well as the cold nights I directly experience while in Ethiopia. I'm currently telling stories of my volunteer experience after realizing the distinct contrast of both sides of the world."

Finally, "I'll continue to work hard volunteering abroad and showing audiences a more mature Jin Joo."
