F(x) Victoria to Film “My Sassy Girl 2”

Singer Victoria of the girls' group f(x) is going to film the second version of the popular movie "My Sassy Girl" with the original actor Cha Tae Hyun. The movie "My Sassy Girl" premiered in 2001 featuring actress Jun Ji Hyun and actor Cha Tae Hyun. It is still one of the most popular romantic comedy movies of Korea. Victoria has starred in a Taiwanese drama in 2012, and a Chinese drama in 2014.

The fans are wondering why the production company is filming "My Sassy Girl 2" with another actress, especially when "My Sassy Girl" ended hinting a happy ending between actor Cha Tae Hyun and actress Jun Ji Hyun's characters. In "My Sassy Girl 2," Cha Tea Hyun and Victoria are a married couple, which does not have any relevancy to the original movie. Actor Cha Tae Hyun said in an interview, "I like series, but I did not think we would get to film a sequel to My Sassy Girl. The sequel to My Sassy Girl has already premiered in China." Cha Tae Hyun then added, "We are also prepared to be criticized for My Sassy Girl 2, because Jun Ji Hyun does not star in it."
