Agencies Deny That Yoon Jin Yi and Shinhwa's Jun Jin Are A Couple

Actress Yoon Jin Yi debuted in 2012 in the romantic comedy "Gentleman's Dignity." In that drama she played a younger woman in love with an older man. Since then she has been in several dramas, including "Fugitive of Joseon," "Reply 1994," "It's Okay, That's Love" and most recently appearing as Sung Joon's lost childhood love in "Discovery of Love."

Yoon Jin Yi hasn't been in the spotlight for that long but now she's involved in a dating scandal with Shinhwa's Jun Jin.

The 24-year-old actress and 34-year-old singer were reportedly seen and photographed together while on a vacation in Singapore. But the dating rumors may have started even before then. In August, the actress was seen attending his concert. Rumors began then, saying the two met earlier this year and have been dating ever since. They may well have met through Eric Moon. Jun Jin is a member of the idol group Shinhwa and his fellow band member Eric Moon acted with Yoon Jin Yi in "Discovery of Love."

Her agency, King Kong Entertainment, denied that Yoon Jin Yi and Jun Jin are seeing each other or that they were together in Singapore.

"After confirming with Yoon Jin Yi, it has been stated that she is currently in Singapore on a trip with friends," said the King Kong Entertainment representative. "She also said she has not met or seen Jun Jin while on her trip. Yoon Jin Yi was escorted by her manager at the airport and her manager confirmed she and her friends boarded their flight as well."

Jun Jin's agency, Shinhwa Company, also released a statement denying the dating rumors. The agency confirmed that the singer was on an overseas trip but said that he did not travel to Singapore. The singer, they said, was in Vietnam. The agency did confirm that he and Yoon Jin Yi knew each other, saying that since they are good friends, they do meet from time to time. But they are not dating, said the Shinhwa representative.

Besides being a member of the longstanding idol group Shinhwa, Jun Jin also has acting credits. His last drama was the Chinese drama "You Are My Dreams" in 2008. He served as director on the 2009 daily k-drama "That Person Is Coming."

Jun Jin previously dated SPICA member Park Joo Hyun for ten months but the couple broke up in 2012. The two have remained friends.
