Can Gong Yoo-TOP-Kim Soo Hyun Outshine Kang Dong Won?

The mission for all male actors this year is to beat Kang Dong Won.

With 'spy' films a hot keyword in the second half of this year, audiences are anticipating the transformations of young male actors thanks to the spy film syndrome spurred by Kang Dong Won's acting as a North Korean defector in film 'Secret Reunion.'

One of these highly anticipated actors is Gong Yoo. Gong Yoo has confirmed his casting in Director Won Shin Yeon's film 'Suspect,' beginning production in September. Gong Yoo will play a North Korean defector, who was once a member of the Special Forces, accused of murder and on his journey to find the real criminal.

Actors Choi Seung Hyun (TOP of Big Bang) and Kim Soo Hyun will also transform into 'flower boy' spies in their newest films.

Choi Seung Hyun will appear in Director Park Shin Woo's 'Alumnus' as a spy in order to save his younger sister. His character is admitted into high school and becomes a relentless killer, but finds himself attracted to his charming classmate.

Expectations for Kim Soo Hyun of 'The Thieves' are already through the roof. Kim Soo Hyun has been casted for film 'Covertness' as spy Won Ryu Hwan, who can speak five languages but disguises himself as the neighborhood fool. 'Covertness' is the story of three 'flower boy' spies who have been abandoned from North Korea.
