Jason Statham might be one one of the most hardworking actors in the genre of action, He can even play a lead role in three movies last year, did a character reprise on his portrayal of Lee Christmas in The Expendables 3 this year and will also play the antagonist character of Deckard Shaw in Furious 7 next year. Statham also recently collaborated with director The Expendables, Simon West on Wild Card, a crime thriller novel-based film.

Wild Card is a fresh version of the 1986 Burt Reynolds movie Heat (also known as "No, Not that Heat" and starts Statham as  Nick Wild, a Las Vegas bodyguard with problems including gambling and has its set of useful combat skills, After taking vengeance on a friend, Nick figures out that he is an upset powerful mob boss and becomes involved into a conflict with Las Vegas' criminal world.

Alleged for January 30th 2015 as its release, Its first two images have been released, one even came from Statham's official Twitter accounts, Its plot is yet to be confirmed.

Wild Card also stars Micheal Angarano, Milo Ventimiglia, Dominik García-Lorido, Anne Heche, Stanley Tucci and Sofia Vergara as its supporting casrs, The international trailer for it has been recently revealed, showing Ventimiglua playing Danny DeMarco, a son of a mob boss who was being targeted by Nick after beating one of his friends, Angarano plays Cyrus Finnick, a meek billionare who appointed Nick for his security and teaches him to be a better man.

Wild Card seemed to be looking like an entertaining adaptation of what will surely be advantageous from its two-time Oscar winning screenwriter and an excellent and well-picked supporting cast. Although the month if January is quite unlikely and a dry for a set of movie releases, Wild Card is something we should look forward to.
