Yoon Eun Hye Confirms ‘I Miss You’, Will Act With Park Yoo Chun In A Traditional Melodrama

Yoon Eun Hye has confirmed to star in 'I Miss You'.

Yoon Eun Hye has been cast as the main female role in MBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama. This will be her first drama in a year and five months.

Park Yoo Chun will be her co-star in the drama with Yeo Jin Gu and Kim So Yeon of MBC's 'Moon That Embraces The Sun' playing their younger counterparts. Because of the strong casting, this drama is one of the most anticipated dramas in the later half of 2012. After confirming her casting, Yoon Eun Hye will join the filming of 'I Miss You' very soon.

'I Miss You' is a traditional melodrama about the love story of two people who are harboring emotional scars after having their heart-fluttering first love taken away from them when they were fifteen-years-old.

In the drama, Yoon Eun Hye plays the first love of Han Jung Woo (played by Park Yoo Chun), a girl who is always bright and confident. She will transform into the role of Lee Soo Yeon, a promising rookie fashion designer who is harboring pain unknown by others. People have high expectations for Yoon Eun Hye's style of traditional melodrama as a character that is pure, but strong and at the same time, cool-headed, but harbors sadness within.

In 2006, Yoon Eun Hye successfully crossed over as an actress through MBC's 'Palace'. She put in a solid performance in MBC's 'Coffee Prince' and set off a "Go Eun Chan syndrome". She became a more seasoned actress as she continued to act in more dramas and movies. Yoon Eun Hye truly found her place as one of the more popular Korean actresses in their twenties.

The masterpiece romance 'I Miss You' will be a collaboration of writer Moon Hee Jung and director Lee Jae Dong. The drama follows 'Arang' and will air its first episode in November.
